| i was drying my hair this morning, and the weatherman on the public radio station said it was going to be a great day, and i smiled. sometimes it is nice to be easily influenced.

| if any part of you is living in the ignorant bliss that we continue to live in a democracy here... check out NPRs 'morning edition' today-- particularly, the "NSA Domestic Spying Report Roils Washington" and "NSA Operations Remain Opaque to Investigators". oh, how the myth is shaken more everyday.

| today in an hour i will be the owner of a piece of property. a big kid thing and right now, i am feeling more like a nervous, little kid.
today is also supposed to be the hottest day since october and well, i looked at the weather in london and the high is 50. it is a bank holiday there as well, and there are football games on. i am pining for a past life, right now. i miss what it feels like on a sunny bank holiday weekend, there is this freedom and giddiness hovering in the air, no matter where you go.
it would have been easier to put off real life for just a little while longer...
